Since 2010, leading visual artist and founder of the West London Art Factory Jewel Goodby and curator/gallerist Francis Taloen have been carrying out a number of different projects primarily in the fields of graffiti/streetart, performance and video/arts installation.

Factory Project is an ongoing investigation of the possibilities of performance in contemporary art contexts within the frame of collaboration experiments. Through an open exchange of ideas and experiences, Factory Project aims at an unpretentious and entertaining, but still diverse and complex, approach to a universal theme. Iconic personalities will be the theme of the artwork with selected works featuring well-known personalities from the past and present.

Factory Projects confronts social/cognitive norms, patterns and structures as well as the conscious decision to question these. In the process of such investigations, Factory Project is sampling music, film and graffiti with references to contemporary culture and offers a platform to successful and emerging talents to showcase their skills.

Expect an action packed arts extravaganza headlining the hottest talents across all mediums of performance art and live music. Our musical partner is Dissention Records, a prolific Independent Label that supports a pseudo post-punk revival. The label was born in Boston in 2004 and they have nominated emerging Punkrock stars Go-X to perform on the evening.

Short Film Screenings by Indira Cesarine will add visual stimulus. Indira has worked in the creative industries as a photographer since 1994 (Vogue, Lily Cole). She began her career as a director in 2007, with her first short film featured at Cannes Short Film Corner.

The live paint line-up includes graffiti spraying wizards such as ‘Fin Dac, ‘Ben Slow, ‘MAC1, ‘and the ‘STICK.  Factory Project has curated work from Royal Academicians Peter Blake and John Hoyland. The pedigree line-up also includes Inkie, Alec Monopoly and Carne Griffiths …
