ROTTEN HILL GANG
You are entering the Dickensian hip-hop world of the Rotten Hill Gang, with tales of old and new London - stories as putrid as decaying vegetables at the end of a day in Portobello Road market and as uplifting and elevating as the sun rising over the Westway.
Fusing movie soundtracks such as Scarface and Once Upon A Time in America with classic rock 'n' roll guitar-riffs and gritty hip hop vocals complimented by the sultry tones of Hollie Cook and Hayley Smith, the band sought to create a sound that was original, compelling, and definitely addictive. A sound that has caught the attention of Mick Jones, Charlene Spitteri and Hugh Morgan to name but a few at recent shows across London.
Very quickly, the Rotten Hill Gang have become one of London’s great live acts, comparable with soul outfits of the 1960s, or - more appositely - George Clinton's Funkadelic/Parliament. Their material deals with the dubside of life in Notting Hill, reality with rhythm and vaudeville humor with honesty.

Expect to hear the most up front electronic sounds, the heaviest reggae baselines, historic folk ballads, mind expanding jazz improvisation; soulful music from all corners of the globe and everything in-between.
The well curated line up of events will be matched with a bar that features an equally eclectic array of boutique wines, hand crafted beers, soft drinks and friendly staff.

TRAVEL:
We are located in the heart of the Notting Hill area right under the A40 Flyover between Portobello Road and Ladbroke Grove, directly next to Portobello Green and above the Portobello Green Fitness Centre.
If you’re standing outside Ladbroke Grove Tube – cross at the lights, turn left and once you’re under the flyover turn right. We’re about 50 metres up on your right.
UNDERGROUND:
Ladbroke Grove (Circle and Hammersmith & City) 2 mins walk
Westbourne Park (Circle and Hammersmith & City) 10 mins walk
Notting Hill Station (Circle, District and Central Line) 10 mins on 52 or 452 bus
BUSES:
To Ladbroke Grove Station (2 mins walk from The Flyover) 52, 452, 23, 7, 70, 295, 316, 228
OVERGROUND:
Kensal Rise 15 mins on 52 or 452 bus
PARKING:
After 5pm you can park in Thorpe Close virtually outside the Flyover, this is also possible on Sundays all day. 2 designated disabled parking spaces are available within 20 metres of the venue entrance.
Access to Thorpe Close is restricted on Saturdays due to Portobello Market.

We have a stair lift up to the venue and once on the first floor there is level access (including to our balcony) and one accessible toilet.
We can organise early entry for those customers who require this and if you require a personal assistant or access worker to accompany you to an event we can provide free entry to this person. We can also arrange viewing areas if necessary.
A car parking space can be reserved for visitors with access needs.
All our security staff are trained to know how to assist disabled customers in case of emergency. Every disabled person is allocated a member of security when they arrive who is to go to their assistance if we need to evacuate.
