Parade Presents is a pop up exhibition programme whose events are designed to showcase emerging talents in the form of solo shows dedicated to one artist. This event will feature the work of Rene Gonzales, a Costa Rican native and London based figurative artist.

Rene’s work is primarily concerned with the aesthetics of portraiture which is a depiction of his influences shown through a visual expression of the heroic, with the classical conventions of glorification and prestige. Highlighting his respect and honour for the referenced figures.

To further personify his work each painting uses strong colour palettes and ornate backgrounds that stand out against the postures of figures, and reflect the urban environment in a tropical climate.
