Can the Kensal Rise Library be saved?

Today at 7 pm there's a Brent council meeting where the fate of this and other 5 libraries will be addressed. On the cards is the closure of a public resource used by the local community. What to do?

The axe is about to fall and soon the Kensal Rise Library will be closed. Yet there's still hope. You can write to local councillors now:

If the library is closed, we are likely to see it being replaced by fancy flats which benefits no one.  The arguments to save it are varied, but crucially, this is a resource used by the local community. If you cherish it and believe in what the very idea of 'Public Library' stands for, then this is the time to get involved. Write to the your local councillor now and attend the meeting if you can.
