Viramundo
VIRAMUNDO are quite simply London's - the UK's - No:1 Brazilian Band oozing fabulous music, entertainment and stagecraft. Time to Daaance!

Having been together in various line ups since 1989 VIRAMUNDO have enormous experience and a very large repertoire of material ranging from their own compositions to Brazilian & Latin classics. The varied & eclectic mix of Brazilian music performed by the band reflects the multiregional origins of the band members.

Viramundo has played a wide range of festivals, functions & Clubs in Europe including Gran Gran Fiesta, Henley Festival, Notting Hill Carnival, and numerous University Balls.

The band has successfully helped put London Latin club nights, new and longtime, like Bar Salsa, Bar Madrid, Bar Tiempo, Bass Clef, HQ, Smollenskys, Guanabara, La Finca, Dover St, 100 Club & many others on the map.

The choice of the people and also the celebs - Both Mick Jagger and Rolf Harris previously called them for their birthday bashes and they were chosen to play for Madonna at the London launch of Evita - Viramundo promise a brilliant evening of dancing and carnival fun!

WOM@TT are making a prestigious BEST OF BRITISH Award to Viramundo on the night for their pioneering achievements presenting African, Caribbean, and Latin music and culture in the United Kingdom
