New community venture in Queen’s Park called the Kula Club. Monthly events for all ages to explore and enhance their creativity and personal vitality through specialised taster classes and initiatives as well a showcase opportunity for local talent (be it musical, artistic or otherwise) and projects.
Kula Club is a different and new forum in which we can meet, explore and nurture well being, connect with communities and showcase ...what we do and what's important to us.
The events have vitality, unity, creative expression and celebration at their core and you can get involved in whichever fashion you choose.
You'll see the same format monthly but with different programmes - Taster & Tantalisers from 6-8pm where you can try vitality based classes or workshops which are already happening or coming soon locally and then the main event from 8-11pm. You'll be able to eat/snack on food from Spice Caravan, have a good boogie, be introduced to new people and ideas and more.
If you have anything (events, exhibitions, classes, a biz venture, groups, a poem you just wrote) you want to share/let people know about then come along and take two minutes in our 'open platform'. Please let us know when you arrive.
We want you to help get the message out to as many people as you can and cement this as a regular monthly event in the local social calendar.
Kula Club is run on a not-for-profit basis, and until Christmas we will be fundraising for Salusbury School. One session £10/7, two sessions £17/13. Food £3-5.
After that we’ll be choosing other projects and causes to support, so if you want to have input here, please do come along.
See you on the dance floor and thank you very much in advance xxx
