The annual event that celebrates the area is back this Sunday with its usual variety of stalls, live music and kids activities. Great fun and highly recommended!
Expect funky space hoppers for preschoolers, 100% natural icepops, handmade soaps and bath bombs, party essentials, handmade cards, beautiful baskets and lots more. You’ll also be able to find out about new local activities or groups to join, whether you’re interested in local history, yoga, sports for children or volunteering with a local charity.
The donkeys, the climbing wall, the Go-carts and trampolines will be back, also a chance to practice rugby skills with Kilburn Cosmos and football with Kilburn Sharks.
Do you remember Get Cycling’s fantastic Cycling Roadshow last year with a chance to ride recumbent kmx bikes? This was so popular we’ve asked them back, along with a new attraction- Bike Powered Scalextric
Also new this year, on the main field:
The Rhythm Studio are into African drumming, body percussion, Afro-Cuban percussion and more – catch their performances and workshops near the children’s playground. Read more about them here
On the Bandstand this year there’s a wonderfully varied programme- Amaru, a Peruvian band, the local QPCS Jazz band, the Great Western Choir, and performances from Stagecoach and Brent Chameleons
