Care Quality Commission Commissions Care Quality Commission to Check Quality of Care Quality Commission

The government has taken urgent action to deal with the crisis in the Care Quality Commission by commissioning the Care Quality Commission to check the quality of the checks made by the Care Quality Commission on the quality of care in the UK.

A government spokesperson said:

This government cares deeply about quality of care which is why we have commissioned the CQC to urgently check the quality of the CQC’s checks on the quality of care it has been commissioned to check.

The move comes not long after the NHS regulator was accused of covering up a cover up when it was revealed an internal report on a cover up by the NHS regulator had probably been covered up.
