Open invitation to ‘Operation Cup of Tea’ in North Kensington
Community members and neighbours in North Kensington are responding to the criminal acts of violence in the area by standing up, getting together and showing the ‘real London’ they know and love.
Join local people at Portobello Road this Friday (12 August) any time between 10am and 5pm to share a cuppa and a chat and be out in force to send a message that these are our streets, our businesses and our homes. Volunteers needed throughout the day to help make and hand out free tea and any biscuit donations are always welcome.
Spread the word as widely as you can! You can email the image below, which is also attached as a flyer for emailing and posting. If you fancy hard copies of the flyer, these can be picked up anytime from Thursday lunchtime from the Community Engagement Team office at 2 – 4 Malton Road W10 5UP under the Westway or from the Street Trading Office off Portobello Road at 72 Tavistock Road W11 1AN.
See you on Friday!
